Computing in Education

Increases in availability and power of computers have led to significant changes in education, both in the content students are exposed to and the ways in which they take in said information.
Computers afford students with access to significantly more information than was previously possible in significantly less time.

Search Engines
such as Google, Bing, and DuckDuckGo provide quick access to journals, videos, and books by simply searching for them. The breadth of information such engines give access to can greatly improve students' quality of learning
Large Language Models
such as ChatGPT, DeepSeek and Google Gemini have, in recent years, provided a more direct and swift means of accessing information, particularly highly specific or context-based answers. Their advent provides learners with access to masses of information and knowledge, with the added benefit of the ability to finetune responses to suit specific needs.
Connectivity
as a result of the internet has, as a whole, significantly changed the face of learning. The ease and ubiquity of video and audio calling, the increased conventience of simultaneous collaboration, and specific services designed to manage teaching, reviewing, and testing knowledge are all direct results of modern connectivity, and have ushered in an age of remote learning.
